An Authentic Italian Ristorante

We weren’t aware that we needed reservations on Valentine’s Day. We we’re ready to leave but they found a place for us to dine. The Seafood Lasagna was amazing! I haven’t had such delicious Seafood Lasagna since living on the East Coast. They made a very special Valentine’s Day for us.

From the first bite of the appetizers to our very last bite of our meal, the flavor was AMAZING!! The service was beyond great, which is refreshing since we live in an age of no customer service. We will definitely be eating her again soon!

I have been a patron of the La Cantina Ristorante for over 25 years and have led many friends to it – and it’s now become one of their very favorite restaurants, too! That says it all. We love the place – the food – and the owners who are always present to meet and greet their guests. I highly recommend it!

Such a fabulous meal! Personally greeted by Tony and Ava. Heard stories from Emilio. The calamari was the best I’ve had. Entrees were rigatoni and pasta Primavera. Highly recommend. Great family history and atmosphere. Say hi to Lisa at the bar!

Delicious!! Spaghetti with large meatballs was tasty and the bread was so good! I had a chicken dish with a wine based sauce that was delicious. I’ll try to add the name after I find it. Large portions were nice so we could have it again the next day. Our server was friendly and attentive even though he had tables assigned both inside and outside.

I had THE MOST delicious meal at La Cantina this evening! Sara was our waitress and she did an incredible job of making us happy! I told her that I wanted pasta with sausage and a creamy sauce and she brought me the most AMAZING plate of food that was exactly what I was imagining! I don’t think it was even a menu item… but it should be! The mojito and seafood stuffed portabella were tremendous too! Great atmosphere and a lovely view, we will certainly be back!

Our experience was amazing! We sat on the deck. The waitress had great energy and was really great! Our food was amazing! We recommend Tony’s jalapeño calamari (it’s not always available per the menu, but definitely ask! It won’t disappoint). The walleye is incredible! We highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in Paw Paw!

Wow! Hands down one of the most remarkable Italian restaurants I’ve ever eaten at, including my grandmother’s kitchen! The red sauce is superb, on the sweeter side of the flavor palette. The customer service was top notch. The views are gorgeous. Definitely going back again and again. A+

La Cantina is a lovely, family run restaurant. It’s truly a gem of a place that locals know well. The food is excellent, atmosphere is pleasing and the service is impeccable. It also boasts an extensive wine list with many varieties of imported Italian wine. Try the Tony Soprano Chianti! Our favorite server is Michaela. She’s remarkably efficient, has a terrific manner and a smile that lights up the room! This is not to slight other servers and bussers. The entire floor staff work hard and carry on their duties as smoothly as a finely calibrated time piece. Can’t say enough about La Cantina! We love you!
